Al CrossAl moved to Toronto in '78 after studying music at McGill U. Soon thereafter he started a six year association with Jane Siberry, recording and touring. Since then Al has freelanced in Toronto, recording hundreds of CDs as well as pursuing other session work including TV, radio and film. Everything from jingles for President's Choice, Tylenol and Ontario Tourism to drumming on the soundtrack of Atom Agoyam's film "The Sweet Hereafter"; records with Big Sugar, Great Big Sea, Natalie MacMaster, Ashley MacIsaac, Ian Tyson, David Wilcox, Lorenna McKennitt, Molly Johnson (with Stephan Grappeli), many Canadian country artists and Sarah Harmer's latest release.
