Ed Goodine was the drummer in the allies and he played on all of Doug's recordings through the 1980s, until he moved to Vancouver. After the allies split up Ed played with numerous bands in Toronto including Rang Tango with Lori Yates. In Vancouver Ed is a popular session player working with numerous bands ranging from Flat Land Six to Linda McRae (formerly of Spirit of the West). Ed made a special trip back to Toronto to work with Doug on his 2001 session.
