David Woodhead bass

David is a multi-instrumentalist best known for a melodic and personal style on the fretless electric bass. A Montreal native, he started by playing banjo at grade school assemblies and by 1974 he had moved to Stratford, Ontario, and became involved with the ground-breaking Perth County Conspiracy. This led to work with Stan Rogers, Brent Titcomb, Valdy, Loreena McKennitt, and many others in the Canadian contemporary folk community.
