"Live" was recorded on December 31, 1995. At our
First Night 96 gig I asked the sound man to tape our set off the board. I wanted to hear the band with our new rhythm section, Dennis & Marty." - Doug Webster
 Several weeks later,
Doug and Tony listened to the tape. They were shocked at the amount of energy coming through the speakers. They were also amazed that by the midpoint of the set the mix was good enough that they could pull the last five songs from the cassette to release on CD.
The band that night was made up of Tony Quarrington on electric guitar & backing vocals,
Dennis Pinhorn on electric bass and Marty Cordrey on drums.
Tony and Doug had been playing together for awhile. Tony had been part of the Seabreeze band on
"The River Rises".
The "Live" recording marks the end of Seabreeze and the beginning of a "personal development" phase in Doug's career.
